Paul D. Davis
Paul D. Davis is the Founder of Affordable Housing Advisors of Marcus & Millichap.
Paul began his real estate career with a boutique brokerage company focused on the sale of market-rate apartments. Upon the enactment of the Tax Reform Act of 1986 and Section 42 of the Internal Revenue Code, Paul identified an opportunity within the affordable housing sector and shifted his focus to the brokerage of Project-Based Section 8 properties. Paul founded AHA in 1987 and pioneered the brokerage of affordable housing.
In 1998, Paul moved AHA to Marcus & Millichap. Soon after, Paul obtained the company’s largest multi-family exclusive listing, 89 HUD-financed Project-Based Section 8 complexes in 27 states, and began building his AHA team. Presently, AHA has achieved sales of more than 200,000 government subsidized housing units throughout the United States, valued in excess of $9 billion.
Paul has repeatedly been recognized as a Top 10 Agent among Marcus & Millichap’s agents nationwide. He is a regular speaker at industry events and his insight is sought by industry and government leaders.
Paul graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree and earned an MBA and law degree from Wayne State University.
